Guided meditation, Tibetan singing bowls, and Reiki energy healing. Ninety minutes to let your nervous system stand down.
What actually happens
Most people who book have never done this before. So here is the whole thing, start to finish, with nothing left vague.
Come early. Pick your spot on the floor, lay out your mat and blanket, take your shake or loaded tea. Nobody will make you introduce yourself to the room.
Lights down. Terrie talks you out of the day and into your body — breath first, then a guided descent. You don't have to be good at meditating. That is the entire point of being guided.
Tibetan singing bowls, played live, close enough that you feel them in your chest and hands before you hear them. This is the stretch most people can't describe afterward and don't stop talking about.
While the sound holds the room, Terrie moves through it and works with each person individually. You stay where you are. Nothing is asked of you.
Slow, deliberate, unhurried. You come back up in your own time. Sit up when you're ready — not when the clock says so.
Some people leave straight away and drive home in silence. Some stay half an hour and talk. Both are normal.
Before you book
Guided by
Terrie is an Usui Reiki Master and Certified Sound Therapist working out of Bradenton. She runs Sacred Drift as a small room on purpose — fifteen people, floor level, no stage.
Her one-on-one work is where the deeper, more personal tuning happens. A group room like this one can take you a long way; what sits above the heart is different for every person and has to be worked individually. Come to the room first. If you want to go further afterward, she'll be there.

Straight answers
$45 per person plus sales tax, paid when you book. That holds your spot in a room of fifteen — it's the only thing that does. A shake or loaded tea is included.
No. Most of the room is first-timers, every time. You lie down, you close your eyes, and you are not asked to do, say or share anything.
Then you needed the sleep. It happens in most sessions and it doesn't mean you missed anything — the sound keeps working. Nobody will wake you or point it out.
No. There's no doctrine, no chanting you have to join in with, and nothing asked of your beliefs. People of every faith and none lie down in this room.
Yes, and most people are glad they did. Book two spots and you'll be placed next to each other. Just do it early — there are fifteen and they come out of the same fifteen.
Message Terrie and she'll move your seat to the next Sacred Drift. The seat isn't lost, it just travels with you.
Most people report heat in the hands, heaviness through the legs, and the point somewhere in the second half where the mental chatter stops. Some people cry. Some feel nothing much the first time and everything the second. All of it is normal and none of it is required.
That's what Terrie's private work is for, and she'll talk with you about it on the night. Come to the room first — it's the cheapest way to find out whether her work lands for you.
If September 17 doesn't work
Sacred Drift runs a small room every month and the seats go to the list before they go anywhere else. Leave your name and you'll hear about October before it's public — plus the occasional note from Terrie worth actually opening.
